Life's Glorious People (version 2)
People in life come and go
Some to talk, some to show.
Show what? we ask,
Maybe a simple task.
Then there are those
Who become our foes.
But we remember most of all
The ones we meet at the mall.
Not because it's a social place,
Because we see a certain face.
One that stands out from the crowd.
She doesn't hide behind a dark shroud.
A thing of beauty, she does not see
How she can mean so much to he.
He doesn't want to move too fast,
A relationship comes from the past.
What must a guy do,
To show his feelings are true?
They might've just met,
But his heart is set.
Will her feelings be the same?
Or are his too lame?
He doesn't want to be blue,
Because in life there are so few
Who make you feel this way
Throughout the day.
So he asks her to look deep,
To see if she'll take that trusting leap.
People come, people go
Either way we all grow.
He hopes she'll give him a chance,
And take life's beautiful dance.
Holding her in his arms
Hearing her lovely charms.
Read this poem and be joyous,
For life is glorious.
